Troubleshooting: ConvertKit Forms and Landing Pages not showing in WordPress plugin

What to do if your ConvertKit Forms or Landing Pages aren't showing up for selection in our WordPress plugin.

Updated over a week ago

Not seeing your ConvertKit Form or Landing page in our WordPress plugin? Here's what to do.

NOTE: This article is specific to not being able to see your Forms (or Landing Pages) available for selection in our WordPress plugin. If you're able to select your Form(s) but they're not displaying on your site, please check out this troubleshooting guide instead!

There are a few reasons why your Form or Landing Page might not be available for selection in the ConvertKit WordPress plugin, and the fix may be as simple as looking in the right place.

The following steps will resolve this issue in the majority of cases! Let's get started.

1. Confirm you're checking the correct dropdown

Forms and Landing Pages show up in separate places in the WordPress plugin.

Forms can show up on both the WordPress post and page editors, in the Form dropdown indicated below:

However, Landing Pages will show up on the WordPress page editor only, in the Landing Page dropdown indicated below:

This is because Landing Pages take over an entire page on your site. In contrast, Forms are embedded within a post or page on your site (more information on the difference here).

Not sure whether your opt-in is a Form or a Landing Page?

It's easy to check! From the Landing Pages & Forms page in your ConvertKit account, locate the title of your opt-in under the graph, and then take note of the icon to its left:

If the icon looks like the icon on the left of the image above, it's a Form. If it looks like the icon on the right, it's a Landing Page.

2. Refresh the dropdown menu

Click the Refresh icon πŸ”„ next to the Form or Landing Page dropdown menu to get the latest Form or Landing Page data from ConvertKit.

Then, check the dropdown menu for your Form or Landing Page again.

3. Disconnect and reconnect the plugin

If you can't find your Form or Landing Page in the correct dropdown menu even after refreshing, then you may need to disconnect and reconnect the WordPress plugin.

Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the WordPress plugin settings by going to Settings > ConvertKit from the WordPress sidebar.

  2. Click the Disconnect button next to the Account Name field.

  3. Click Connect and follow the steps here to reconnect WordPress with your ConvertKit account.

That's it!

You should now be able to access all of your Forms and Landing Pages in their respective dropdowns.
