How to add an individual subscriber in ConvertKit

How to manually add a subscriber to your list in ConvertKit, as well as to tags and sequences.

Updated over a week ago

With this method you can add a single subscriber to your list, or add a current subscriber to a sequence.

NOTE: If you’re adding more than one subscriber at a time, follow these steps instead.

Let's dive in!

First, head over to your subscribers list.

You can find this from the top menu under Grow > Subscribers.

Scroll down past your subscriber graph. On the right hand side below the search bar, you will see a button to Add Subscribers.

After you click the Add Subscribers button, 3 different options will appear. Click the option on the left to Add a single subscriber.

You'll be taken to another pop-up window where you can enter in the info for this subscriber.

NOTE: If you're adding an email address for the first time, you'll want to add their name. If this subscriber is already in your account and you’re just adding them to a tag or sequence, you only have to enter their email address.

In this window, choose where this person will be added in your account. You can add them to a tag, sequence, form—or several of each if you'd like!

Once you’ve selected where you'd like this subscriber added, hit save and you're done!

Nice work.

☝️ The ConvertKit app updates itself in terms of numbers, stats, and reports regularly to reflect numbers correctly. (This means that it's not real time.) You will see those changes updated shortly after making them. If not, reach out to our support team and let us know.
